Damn, this story turned out so much heavier then I thought it would. Especially when child abuse is something you experienced like me :0

The ending of the game is actually really heartbreaking once you see it, because Maya and all of her friends escaped Hugo Punch’s wrath, but Jimmy still lives with it because Hugo is a violent corrupt part of the once innocent boy. In the end, there is a final cut scene that shows Hugo Punch looking for Maya, but he hears a boys voice telling him to stop and he does looking down the hall next to him, where it shows Jimmy, as the man from the front desk, sitting in the corner sobbing and begging him to stop making him do these things. But what really kills me is the final words of Hugo. “I’m in charge now. Not you. I’m in charge.” And it’s basically Hugo telling Jimmy that he can never escape and it’s true in a way because he’s, as of right now, forever stuck in his head with Hugo Punch in full control.

The cutscenes scare me more than Jimmy.
